Got some of my climbing footage used in a big time commercial! Check out my buddy Graham climbing at Wild Iris @ 37 seconds in.

That shot was from an old classic, “Lander Rock Climbing” check it out here if you missed it a few years ago!

A not so common wedding story…

Brian and Mandy left their home on bicycles (rode 14 miles), hiked into the Cirque of the Towers in Wyoming’s Wind River Range (24 miles), climbed the Northeast Face of Pingora Peak (1,200′ of climbing, 11,884′ summit elevation, Grade IV, 5.8, 9 pitches), got married, and reversed the approach. On their wedding day they were awake and moving for 24 hours, the entire trip was just under 45 hours.

Special thanks to Jamie O’Donnell for officiating and Sam Lightner Jr. for being the Maid of Honor.

This was by far the most unique and fun wedding I’ve been to, thanks Mandy & Brian for inviting me to be part of your special day!

Alaska is cool. It’s really big. I’ve had the pleasure of working and filming up there a few times now with the NOLS on Denali, in the Alaska Range, and in Prince William Sound. Check it out! Big thanks to Andy and George at Distill for sharing footage from the upcoming Expedition Denali film!

A little bit of unused footage from last years feature film, “Wind & Rattlesnakes” (vimeo.com/78859472). BJ Tilden ups the ante to 5.14C on the hardest route in Sinks Canyon near Lander, Wyoming.

I spent most of the winter in the Middle East doing some freelance for a company called Absolute Adventure. They are an outdoor education and guiding company based out of Dubai that runs the majority of their programs in the Sultanate of Oman (where top level rock climbers Alex Honnold and Chris Sharma have visited recently and gathered considerable media attention). It is indeed a beautiful area that is ripe for exploration and adventure, check out one of the three new promos I made for the company.
